Working for Eden

All expatriates in Eden are volunteers. There is plenty of work to do, so if you would like to help us, please read through the following points.

* Since Eden is a voluntary organisation, it does not provide salaries to any of the expatriates working with us. Each volunteer raises his own sponsors to cover his costs.

* Workers must be fluent in both English and French. French is the national language of Niger, and English is the language used at Eden's research office.

* Eden is looking for long-term workers. This means people who plan to stay with us for periods of five years or more.

* Living conditions in Niger are probably quite different from those of your home country. You should be prepared for this before you consider working there.

* Because we constantly have a lot of work to do, we are unable to host internships and other student study periods.

If Eden seems like something for you, then contact us at project@eden-foundation.org. Please do not send us large attachments, as we have slow internet connections in Africa and must delete emails that are too large. The best way of sending a C.V. is in plain text format, copied straight into your email.
